Velvet Kisses

    Velvet Kisses

Velvet is retired now, but her beauty and sweet nature continue here at PrinceRoyal in the person of her charming son, PrinceRoyal Orlando Purrioso.

Born on Valentine's Day two years ago, Velvet Kisses is a real Valentine, a sweetheart indeed. She was named "Velvet Kisses" because her fur is sooo soft and because she is sweet-tempered. Her name really expresses her nature.

As you can see in the pictures, Velvet is a great beauty. She is a long-bodied lady with luscious super-soft fur that is dusted with golden glitter. She has plenty of rosettes in a very horizontal flow, puffy whisker pads, a long elegant neck, and a small head that increases her "wild" look. She has arresting large, round eyes of brilliant green. Her tail is nice and thick and her overall type is good too. She has had some lovely and affectionate kittens, and now she is looking for a home where she can be the Queen of Hearts.

Light reflects off Velvet's shining sleek pelt.Velvet (her official, full name is Bridlewood Velvet Kisses of PrinceRoyal) gets her beauty and her sweet personality from her dad, Bridlewood Night Prowler, and her mom, Kingsmark Cricket. On her mother's side she is an F4 from the Kabuki ALC, Mirror Mirror line, and on her father's side she descends, farther back, from the Centerwall ALC. [You can view these ALCs here.]

Velvet quietly grooms her silky fur. Velvet came to us from an environment of large outdoor runs but has adapted with grace---eagerness, really---to being an in-home, indoor cat. She is affectionate, liking to be stroked. Like all bengals, she's athletic. But what Velvet likes most is to play. She'll dance for hours with a sparkly wand or a bit of feather.

Velvet was born February 14, 2001, so she's only two years old. She's still just a young lady, and she has many years ahead of her in which to bring beauty and quiet, steady affection to a deserving person or family.

Velvet has been microchipped (for her safety and your and our peace of mind) and will be spayed before she is placed.

As with all our retirees, our main goal in placing her is to be sure she is in a home where she will be adored, happy, and well-cared for for the rest of her life.

You can learn more about how we place retirees here.

washes out her color but you can see her purrsonality!
