Gogees Spellbinder of PrinceRoyal
Sire: RW SGC Gogees Warpaint
Dam: Gogees Ayesha of Imprints
Appearance
Spellbinder is a wild-looking cat! He has vivid, ink-black markings and rosetting, golden glitter, and a certain "presence." His eyes are the color of the yellow jungle sun. His ears are small, his whisker pads immensely puffy, and his pattern flow is very horizontal. He has a broad, squared muzzle and a decent chin. Spellbinder is richly spotted all over---he even has spotted legs. His tail is short and thick, and his tail carriage is wonderful. And his body type! He has a "wild" kind of movement that makes him a joy to watch. He's adding a lot to our program. Many thanks to his breeder, Gene Ducote of Gogees, for allowing us the opportunity to snatch up this handsome fellow---and to a certain dear friend who helped make it possible---you know who you are!

Genetics
Spellbinder is a Brown Spotted Tabby. He carries marble. He has proven that he can stamp that spot size, acerage, contrast, and head on his kittens, and he's good at breaking up rib bars too. Spellbinder's father, RW SGC Gogees Warpaint, was
the #1 kitten in Japan for the year 2000, the #2 Best Cat of Asia, and the #8
Bengal internationally for 2000-01. He Supremed before 1 year of age, finalling in every adult ring he was in. Spellbinder's mother, Gogees Ayesha, is now in New Zealand with our dear friend Stephanie Boyd-Dunlop, bengalcatz of IMPRINTS. You can see pictures of Spellbinder's father and mother.
Spellbinder's pedigree is here. He is an F8.
On March 23, 2004, at the age of 1 year and 8 months, Spellbinder tested normal on an echocardiogram. You can view the report.
Purrsonality
Spellbinder looks wild and wanton but he is really a sweet guy. He rolls over on his back when he sees us coming to try to entice us to stroke his tummy, and he gives big heavy head-butts. And ever since he's discovered females... Well, let's just say he's a go-getter. He sired his first litters when he was 9 months old and hasn't looked back since! But he's always looking around at the girls, if you know what I mean.
